Old Elizabethan - Barnet

The award winning Summer Soulstice one-day festival returns this year back at the Old Elizabethans Memorial Playing Fields in Barnet. This year marks its 15th year!
I absolutely adore this event and have been to every one, bar the 1st! It's hold a very special place in my heart and I am so proud to be part of this event. It is still weird being on the 'other side' of the event, but it's so special to play a part in the days events.
Proceeds go to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care as they continue to do this in memory of a dear friend and brother, Andy Weekes.

This is one of my most favourite events in the UK.
Suite Soul was established in 2005 by Bob and Lorna Jeffrey and it keeps going from strength to strength. Musically the day/night encompasses nu soul, modern soul, soulful house, the soulful side of disco and dance floor jazz. Over the years some of the best dj's in the UK and US have played at the events including John Morales, Jeff Young, Terry Jones and Al Kent.
